How to bypass Salesforce's mass email limit?
On the Salesforce platform, you can send mass email (using the API or Apex) to a maximum of 5000 external email addresses per day per org. Under certain conditions, Salesforce Support may temporarily raise your org's mass email limit. For details, see Mass Email Limitations in the Salesforce Help.
Depending on your business, your org may permanently need to send more emails per day. To support this, JustOn can integrate with the Amazon Simple Email Service (SES) to send out invoices, dunning reminders and account statements.
The Amazon SES integration is an enterprise extension feature and subject to additional charges. For details, contact our service team.
Make sure to familiarize with the concepts and operation of Amazon SES. For details, see Amazon SES Email-Sending Concepts and Getting Started Sending Email with Amazon SES in the Amazon SES Documentation.
Preparing Amazon SES for your Salesforce org involves the following main steps:
(1) Sign up for Amazon AWS.
(2) Create and configure an SES account, including
- selecting a region from where the emails are to be sent,
- verifying your domain or individual email addresses,
- requesting production access to increase the sending limit.
(3) In the AWS Identity and Access Management, add a user who has access to SES, including
(4) Copy the Access Key ID and Secret Access Key.

This activates SES for your JustOn instance. JustOn sends all invoice, dunning reminder and account statement emails (individual or "batched"). There is no difference in the user interaction.
The SES integration supports organization-wide email sender addresses, as long as they are added and verified in the SES Management Console.
