Electronic Invoices

This JustOn Configurator package provides general settings that are required to create e-invoices and to distribute e-invoices via Peppol. The package adds tax rules, quantity units and a permission set. The complete configuration involves, however, additional project-specific tasks, as outlined in Enabling E-Invoice Creation.

System preconditions:

The tax rules delivered with this package match on the invoice region, which the Tax Rules packages derive from the Salesforce field BillingCountryCode. Without the picklists, there is no region, and the delivered tax rules never apply. Creating e-invoices requires the picklists as well. For details, see State and Country/Territory Picklists.

Deploying package

To deploy a configurator package:

  1. Log in your target Salesforce org.

  2. In the same browser session, open the JustOn Configurator.

    If the link does not work, copy the URL https://juston-configurator.herokuapp.com/.

  3. Click Salesforce OAuth2.

    This connects the JustOn Configurator with your current Salesforce session using your current credentials. Make sure that you are connected with the intended user and org.

  4. Open the relevant tab.

  5. Scroll down the list to find the relevant package.

  6. Click Deploy.

    This deploys the configuration as described to your org.

    Back in your Salesforce org, make sure to add the deployed components to permission sets as necessary.

Post-Deployment Tasks

  1. Request your e-invoice onboarding with JustOn.

    File a corresponding ticket in the JustOn Support Portal.

  2. Complete the e-invoice configuration according to your org's requirements.

    Use Enabling E-Invoice Creation as a guideline.
