Managing advance payments and customer credit balances

Prepayment handling manages customer payments received before invoicing. These amounts are held as credit balances and applied to future invoices. The current approach integrates JustOn Billing & Invoice Management with JustOn Cash Management.

Prepaid Balance Management

An earlier, Billing & Invoice Management-only approach handles prepayments through dedicated Prepaid balances rather than the integrated entry assignment described above. It is still supported and not deprecated, but it is no longer set up for new customers. See Setting Up Prepaid Balance Management.
