Setting Account Mandate Reference

Legacy feature

The SEPA order export is a legacy feature. JustOn recommends migrating to the direct, EBICS-based SEPA order transfer provided by JustOn Cash Management. Contact JustOn Support with any questions.

For SEPA Direct Debit, you need a direct debit mandate reference, a unique reference key for the direct debit mandate as assigned by the creditor. JustOn can fill the field ON_DirectDebitMandateReference of the account with an auto-incrementing counter. This is useful if you do not retrieve the direct debit mandate reference from an external system.

Note

You can generate a SEPA mandate reference for an account if

  • the SEPA mandate reference creation is set up accordingly (see Account Mandate Reference Counter),
  • the field ON_InvoicePaymentMethod of the account is set to SEPA (or to Direct Debit if the picklist does not provide the value SEPA),
  • the field ON_DirectDebitMandateReference of the account is still empty.

Otherwise, JustOn displays an error message and does not generate the mandate reference.

To set the mandate reference for an account:

  1. Navigate to the account for which you want to set the mandate reference.
  2. Click Set Mandate Reference.
  3. Click Continue.

This generates a SEPA mandate reference for the current account.
