Flat-Fee Pricing

Flat-fee pricing is a specific variant of per-unit pricing: it applies a flat price, leaving out quantity-based calculations.

The amount to charge for an item is a single price of the type Flat, which becomes the unit price in the invoice line item.

The item's quantity is always assumed as 1, and consequently, the invoice line item's subtotal equals the configured flat price.

So the flat price is always a fixed amount, which is typically applied to one-time or recurring items (see Billing Types).
