Flat-Fee Pricing
Flat-fee pricing is a specific variant of per-unit pricing: it applies a flat price, leaving out quantity-based calculations.
The amount to charge for an item is a single price of the type Flat
, which becomes the unit price in the invoice line item.
The item's quantity is always assumed as 1
, and consequently, the invoice line item's subtotal equals the configured flat price.
So the flat price is always a fixed amount, which is typically applied to one-time or recurring items (see Billing Types).
