Why does JustOn Billing & Invoice Management support XRechnung and Peppol BIS Billing?
Currently, JustOn Billing & Invoice Management supports the following e-invoice formats:
- Peppol BIS Billing (with UBL syntax) for electronic invoicing across Europe
- XRechnung (with UBL syntax) for electronic invoicing within Germany
XRechnung is the de facto standard in Germany and was defined as “decisive for the implementation” of the underlying EU Directive 2014/55/EU. XRechnung has been mandatory for the exchange of e-invoices with public bodies since 2018.
Peppol BIS Billing is a common European e-invoice format and also implements EU Directive 2014/55/EU.
