Configuring Invoice Page Display

Users may require to easily assess the current status of invoices or the current assignment of balances in a graphical representation. To this end, JustOn Billing & Invoice Management provides a dedicated status component and a balance assignment component, which you can, optionally, add to the Invoice record page.

Enabling Invoice Status Display

The Invoice Process States component shows information about the status of an invoice with respect to invoice-related business processes in dedicated tiles. The currently available tiles include:

Tile Description
Invoice Status Displays the current invoice status
Dunning Level Displays the current dunning level
E-Invoice Status Displays the current status of the creation and distribution of an e-invoice

To add the invoice status component to the Invoice record page:

  1. Open the Invoice record detail page in the Lightning App Builder.

    1. Navigate to an invoice.
    2. Click to open the Setup menu, then select Edit Page.
  2. Modify the page layout.

    Drag the Invoice Process States component (under Custom - Managed) to an appropriate region of the record page.

  3. Optionally, configure the visibility of the Dunning Level tile.

  4. Click Save.

  5. Click Activate.

    This makes the customized record page available to users, enabling them to easily assess the current invoice status on the invoice detail view.

Enabling Balance Assignment Display

The Balance Assignment Overview component shows the current payment status of an invoice. It displays a chart that visualizes the assigned balances.

To add the balance assignment component to the Invoice record page:

  1. Open the Invoice record detail page in the Lightning App Builder.

    1. Navigate to an invoice.
    2. Click to open the Setup menu, then select Edit Page.
  2. Modify the page layout.

    Drag the Balance Assignment Overview component (under Custom - Managed) to an appropriate region of the record page.

  3. Click Save.

  4. Click Activate.

    This makes the customized record page available to users, enabling them to easily view the related balances on the invoice detail view.
