How many decimal places does JustOn use when converting currencies?
← Billing & Invoice Management FAQ
Certain business use cases require support for multiple currencies. Enabling this feature involves
- Enabling multiple currencies for your Salesforce org
- Specifying which currencies to support, as explained in Activate and Deactivate Currencies in the Salesforce Help
Info
As a part of the currency setup, you specify the number of decimal places (0..6) to display for amounts in this currency.
When working with multiple currencies, you can have Salesforce convert prices from one currency to the other. Upon conversion, Salesforce considers all defined decimal places.
JustOn does not interfere with this behavior: When converting, for example, the price for some usage data in US dollars to euros for the invoice generation, it uses all decimal places that you have defined in your currency settings. That is, JustOn does not round or truncate the amounts for the currency conversion.
