How to enable support tools?

← Setup and Service FAQ

JustOn support may ask you to grant login access in order to assist you with an issue or request. If you do so, JustOn support representatives can log into your org using your login to troubleshoot and resolve the reported problem.

Many cases require further analysis. This is why our support team uses additional tools, such as Salesforce Workbench or Salesforce Inspector.

These analysis tools require API access. So make sure that the user who grants login access must be enabled to use the Salesforce API via a permission set or a profile.

To do so:

  1. Click to enter Setup.
  2. Navigate to Users > Permission Sets | Profiles > Permission Set/Profile Name > System Permissions.
  3. Click Edit.
  4. Select API Enabled.
  5. Click Save.

Info

Make sure, in addition, that the org has not enabled Salesforce's API Access Control (which would prevent API access except for authorized connected apps).
